European air quality maps of ozone and PM10 for 2009 and their uncertainty analysis ETC/ACM Technical Paper 2011/11

These maps, with their spatial exceedance and exposure estimates are intended to be used for the assessment of European air quality by the EEA and its ETC/ACM, and for (interactive visual) public information purposes through the EEA website.
The two main pollutants of interest, PM10 and ozone, have been considered as relevant for an annual update and are dealt with in this paper.
